The best seafood market in New Jersey. Period. This authentic Portuguese peixe in the heart of Newark Ferry Street offers the greatest selection at a fair price. The seafood is always very fresh, the fishmongers are top class, nice and fair as they give you only the best fishes. We have been getting our seafood for several years--once a month--and we have never been disappointed. If you truly like seafood, and you know what quality seafood look and smell like, then this is the place to go.

Nice seafood place, its not going to be cheap, but the prices are fair... My lobsters were wonderful and full of meat, make sure you get every nook and cranny! Made a lobster roll woth it too… Lots of selection of fish and shellfish, as fresh as you can get it, so its worth it no matter what. I recommend it if you really want some good fresh fish or some other seafood!

This place is awesome. Has a large selection of seafood from local to imported directly from Portugal. Bought lapas and European Spider Crab They were super fresh and if your looking for a specific type of Seafood call them up and they'll try their best to find it for you which most places wouldn't even bother with you.
